Scott L Christensen: Three Landscape Studies
In the first of three demonstrations, Scott teaches you how to combine field studies to create a studio painting. In the following two demonstrations, he shows you how to approach situations you encounter when painting en plein air, including “keying in” the painting correctly with strong shapes and correct values in order to capture your critical information quickly. Painting titles include “South Park Summer,” “Warbonnet Rock Fields,” and “Salisbury Sunset.” This instructional video is 3 hours in length.
Jove Wang: Portrait Demonstration
Jove Wang is a fine Chinese artist who also shares his knowledge with others by teaching numerous art classes and workshops. Wang’s work has been included in major exhibitions in Taipei, Taiwan and Korea. He was honoured in 1997 with Best of Show at the California Art Club’s 88th Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibitiion and won First Place in the figure category in the Club’s same exhibition the following year. Then in 1999, Southwest Art magazine identified Wang as one of their “Artists to Watch.”
Scott Burdick: Rebecca Fire Lit

The pose was set up to illustrate the interplay of color temperature from opposing light sources, one a hot red-orange and the other cool sky-blue.
